Here you'll find the explanation of all things visible in the campaign overview page, the 'My Campaigns' page on Expandi. This would include the clarification of filters and actions available, as well as displayed information/data next to your campaign, and the meaning of it.

Where to find the 'My Campaigns' | Campaign overview page?

Go to the LinkedIn account menu and click on the 'My Campaigns' option

Once you click on the 'My campaigns' button, the campaign overview page will appear:

What tabs are available in the 'My Campaigns' section?

In the 'My Campaigns' page, on top of the screen, you'll see two tabs available. One of them is 'My Campaigns' and the other one is 'Tasks'.

'My Campaign' tab

By default, the 'My campaigns' tab, which shows the campaign overview page, will be selected. The information that can be found under this tab will be explained/discussed in the next sections of this article.

'Tasks' tab

If you click on the 'Tasks' tab, you can check the completed or scheduled tasks (actions) of your campaigns. This tab is very useful to see how many tasks (actions) are scheduled on your account and what actions have already been completed.

Please learn more about the task scheduling and how it works here.

What filters are available on the campaign overview page?

There are 3 filters available on the campaign overview page:

  • Type to search - here you can enter the name of your campaign to locate it in the list of your campaigns faster. This is especially useful if you have many active campaigns and wish to find one of them quickly.

  • Status - this filter allows you to filter on 'Active' or 'Inactive' campaigns. To use it, click on the Status filter and select the 'Active' or 'Inactive' option from the drop-down menu.

If the option 'Active' is selected, you will only see your active campaigns displayed in the list.

If you select the option 'Inactive', all inactive campaigns (not activated) will be displayed in the campaign list.

  • Campaign type - here you can filter campaigns by their type (see all campaign types here). If you have multiple campaign types created (such as Connector, Builder, Messenger, etc.), you can use this filter to quickly find campaigns of a specific type by selecting it from the drop-down menu. The drop-down list is scrollable, allowing you to browse through all available campaign types.

What actions are available on the campaign overview page?

Please see below all available actions on the campaign overview page, what each of them does, and where they are located.

Add new campaign

The most common action used in the campaign overview page is the button to create a new campaign. It is located on the right side of the top of the screen:

By clicking on the '+Add new campaign' button, you can create a new campaign. Please learn more about all types of campaigns and how to create them here.

The toggle to activate or deactivate the campaign

The toggle to activate or deactivate the campaign is located on the left side by the type of campaign:

If the toggle is blue, it means that the campaign is active.

If the toggle is white, it means that the campaign is inactive.

To activate the campaign, click on the toggle next to the inactive campaign.

If the campaign you're trying to activate has no people added to it, a pop-up window will appear and inform you that you're about to activate a campaign without any leads in it. The leads should be added to the campaign from the created lead list so the campaign can start sending actions and outreaching the leads.

However, if you wish to skip this step for now, you can click on the 'Activate without leads' button in the pop-up window and activate the campaign anyway.

To deactivate the campaign, you would again click on the toggle next to the type of campaign. Once it's done, the campaign will be deactivated.

How to open the campaign?

The campaign can be opened by clicking on the name of the campaign.

How to add people to the campaign from the campaign overview page?

People can be added to the campaign from the campaign overview page only if there are no people added to the campaign at the moment.

To do that, you need to click on the 'Add People' button below the name of the campaign.

When you click on the 'Add People' button, the system will take you to the People tab in the campaign, where you will be able to create a new lead list (upload your CSV file) or select an existing lead list on your Expandi account. Please learn more about all lead list types available here.

Add campaign goal

To add a goal for the campaign, click on the 'Add goal' button

Complete the 3 given sentences in the pop-up window and click on the 'Save' button to save the changes

Once it's done, you'll see a chart displayed instead of the 'Add goal' button. This chart will show the percentage of people's interest rates. The data will appear if you have the sentiment analysis feature enabled in the campaign settings tab and if some of the leads replied to you.

How to set priority for the campaign?

If you look on the right side of the screen on the campaign overview page, you will see an option to set a priority for your campaign. When you click on it, you are able to select low, medium, or high priority for the campaign. Please learn more about campaign priorities and how they work here.

This setting will only be available here if the campaign priority toggle is turned on in the campaign settings tab. If it's not, the option won't be visible, and you won't be able to set/change the priority in the campaign overview page.

How to access campaign settings from the campaign overview page?

To go to the campaign settings tab from the campaign overview page, click on the 3 dots menu on the right side of the screen and select the option 'Settings'

Once you click on the 'Settings' button, the system will take you to the campaign's settings tab. Please learn more about it here.

How to delete the campaign?

Please keep in mind that once the campaign is deleted, there's no way to recover it. Only people from the deleted campaign can be recovered using the Recovery campaign.

What data/information is visible on the campaign overview page?

The information you can see on the campaign overview page depends on the type of campaigns you have. Below you will find information related to what data/information is visible for:

Non-builder campaigns

If you have any of the campaigns mentioned above on the campaign overview page, you will be able to see the data/information such as:

Important! The information related to the campaign performance (stats) on the campaign overview page gets updated every few hours and only when the account is in active times on Expandi.

Therefore, to check the real-time data of the campaign, please check the stats displayed in the campaign chart stats tab instead. More information about all campaign tabs and where to find them can be found here.

The type of the campaign

On Expandi, every campaign has a type, depending on what actions that campaign sends and what its purpose is. Please see all campaign types here.

The type of the campaign is displayed in front of the campaign name:

The name of the campaign

The name of the campaign can be changed in the campaign settings tab. If it wasn't changed when creating a campaign, a default name will be displayed, which is 'New campaign + the date when the campaign was created'. Please see below where it's located in the campaign overview page:

The date when the campaign was activated/deactivated

The date when the campaign was activated or deactivated (stopped) is displayed below the type of campaign. Please see below:

The number of people added to the campaign

The total number of people added to the campaign is displayed below the campaign name. Please see below:

The number of people the campaign has already contacted

The number of people that the campaign contacted already (sent the first action step from the campaign) is displayed under the Contacted column.

The example below shows that 24 people out of 24 people in the campaign (24 of 24) received the first action from it. This means that all people in this campaign received an action from it.

However, if you look at the next example below, which shows 1 of 161 people contacted. It means that only 1 lead received the first action from the campaign, and 160 leads are still left to receive the action from it.

The number of people who accepted your connection request in the campaign

The number of people who accepted your connection request in the campaign can be found under the Connected column. The first number there indicates how many connection requests were accepted. The second number displayed there shows how many connection requests were sent in total (as of now).

By the example shared above, it means that 1748 connection requests were already sent from the campaign, and 115 connection requests (out of 1748 sent) were accepted.

The number of people who replied to your connection request

The number of people who accepted your connection request and replied to you before a follow-up message in the campaign was sent is displayed under the Replied to connection column.

By the example above, 1 person has replied after accepting the connection request. A total of 24 connection requests were sent in the campaign.

The number of people who replied to other messages in the campaign

The number of people who replied to your follow-up messages in the campaign is displayed under the Replied to other column in the campaign overview page. Please see an example below:

By the example above, 47 people replied to follow-up messages sent in the campaign, and 1767 people were contacted by the campaign (received the first action (step) in it).

  • Activation or deactivation date
