Campaign history will show what actions you, or your team, have made on a specific campaign. For example, the date a certain user added a search into the campaign or when it was activated.

Table of contents:

Where to find my campaign history?

To find your campaign history, you should follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the LinkedIn account menu, and click on the My Campaigns menu option. Then click on the campaign you wish to check the history of

  2. Then click on the History tab to open it

In the history tab, you are able to check the actions that have been done by you (or another Expandi account that manages your LinkedIn account) in the campaign. The sections available under this tab are:

History event section - you will see the name of the action that was done in this campaign.

Contacts section - you can check the people related to the event that happened in the campaign by simply clicking on the View contacts button.

Search section - here you can find the name of the search that was used to add people to the campaign. Keep in mind if it's a CSV search that was added directly to the campaign, the name won't be displayed.

Event by user - here you will see Expandi login email address of the account that performed the campaign history event (added people to the campaign, activated/deactivated it, etc.). It's useful if multiple Expandi accounts are managing the same LinkedIn account.

Date of event - the date of when that action happened.

Campaign history events

In the history tab, you will see campaign history events like:

  • Contacts added to campaign - this event can be used to check when you added people to the campaign, what people were added (by clicking on the "view contacts" button), and from what search (please see below).

  • Contacts unable to add to campaign - this is displayed if, for some reason, people that you were trying to add to the campaign could not be added.

In most cases, they can't be added because a 1st-degree connection on LinkedIn ("contact", "new contact" on Expandi) was being added to a connector campaign. Since you are not able to send another connection request to somebody you're connected with already, the system doesn't allow adding such people to a connector campaign.

The same would happen if you try to add 2nd- and 3rd-degree connections to a messenger campaign ("searched", "imported" people on Expandi) because a messenger campaign is used to send messages to your 1st-degree connections on LinkedIn ("contacts", "new contacts") and the system would not allow adding 2nd, 3rd-degree connections to this campaign.

  • Contacts already exist in campaign - this campaign event is displayed if the people you are trying to add to the campaign are already a part of this campaign or a company campaign.

  • Contacts blacklisted - this appears if the people you were trying to add to the campaign are from your blacklist. Since blacklisted people cannot be outreached by the campaign.

  • Campaign activated - here you can see when you activated the campaign.

  • Campaign deactivated - here you can see when you deactivated the campaign.

  • Contacts removed - this will be displayed if you remove (delete) any people from the campaign.

  • Contacts continued - every time you resume (run) somebody in the campaign, this will appear as a history event. It can be used to check what leads were resumed (continued) in the campaign.

  • Contacts paused - in case you do not wish to send the next follow-up message to certain leads in the campaign, and you pause them, the Contacts paused event will be created for this action. This will allow you to check later on what people were manually paused by you in the campaign.

  • Actions applied - this will appear in the campaign history when you make some changes in the campaign's settings tab. This would include changing campaign limits, changing the name of the campaign, turning on campaign priority, etc.
