For the Builder Campaign, it's the same as any campaign; you will need to complete the settings to set it live. In the screenshot below, you can see that the builder campaign, unlike most other campaigns, has a single slider in its settings. This slider determines how many new leads will receive the very first step of the campaign (an action) daily, i.e., how many new leads will enter the campaign sequence.
As per the limits set in the screenshot below, 30 new leads will receive the first action from the campaign daily.
Keep in mind that the daily limit for a specific action can override your campaign settings. For example, if the first action in your campaign is 'Visit profile', and its daily limit is set to 20 (in the 'daily limits'), while your campaign allows 30 leads to go through the first step per day, only 20 leads will actually proceed. This is because the lower limit on that first action - 'Visit profile' - takes priority.
Also, if you want the system to process more of the later actions (not just the first one), avoid setting a high daily limit for how many leads enter the first step. Keeping it around 20–30 gives the system enough capacity to handle subsequent steps in the campaign, allowing more of those actions to be completed overall.
How to find the campaign settings, where the adjustments have to be made?
In order to set the limits in the campaign, you need to go to the 'My Campaigns' page on Expandi, open the campaign by clicking on it, and go to the 'Settings' tab.
In the 'Settings' tab, you can set how many leads will go through the first action in the campaign daily:
Where to adjust the limit for builder campaign actions in the LinkedIn settings, and how do they work?
To find the general limits for the builder campaign, you need to:
Go to 'LinkedIn Settings' and click on the LinkedIn account limits option
In the 'Daily limits' section (if it’s enabled and your account isn’t in the 'Account warm-up' phase), you’ll find limits for actions used in builder campaigns. You can increase or decrease these limits by adjusting the toggles or entering a specific number range for each action.
The volumes of any other builder step that the system would send would depend on the limits set here, for the LinkedIn account on Expandi, the time delays between actions, and the campaign priority. The limits you set in the LinkedIn settings will be distributed between all active campaigns and rely upon the campaign priority settings.
How many actions will my builder campaign send per day (example)?
If you maximize your settings on follow-up actions in the builder campaign, i.e., like you set your sliders for e.g., post likes, company follows, and connection requests to 100, this does not automatically mean that the builder campaign would send such high volumes of these actions. The campaign will send actions to leads who have entered the sequence (the first step has been performed for them). Only these leads will be available to receive any further actions, and only if the time delays before these actions need to be performed have passed already.
Therefore, you can’t expect to see the exact numbers that you have set in daily limits in your daily statistics, as would be in the case when using a legacy connector campaign, for example.
If your goal is to send a steady number of connection requests daily, we would suggest using a legacy connector or a legacy mobile connector campaign instead. Since they are specifically created for sending connection requests and don't include additional actions, those campaigns work faster.
